Sponge Lei's

Welcome aboard mateys!

Here be the more detailed treasure map for our delightful "Sponge Leis," video.

The crew began by organizing the supplies. First ye be needing some sponges, for ultimate comfort, pilfer and pillage some sponges without that blasted scrub pad on the off side. Arr, elsewise ye’ll be skinning more pirate sprouts than a Royal Navy Bosun, arr-harr-harr. The crew also pillaged some Cellulose Cloths, and down below be the shopping link for both, so as you can begin hoarding yer treasures without delay.

Once you’ve gathered your supplies and tools, you begin by cutting the sponges.

For the flowers you’ll trace, or draw, a five petal flower onto the corner of one of the cellulose sheets. We’ve taken the liberty of creating a template for your crafting pleasure below. Our flowers are just shy of two square inches.

Now, trace yourself a whole barrel of flowers.

Next, cut out those flowers. We found it easier to cut our cellulose flowers with a small pair of cuticle scissors; as the curve of the blades was fairly similar to that of the small flower petals.

Now follow along with the Sprouts and assemble your Sponge Leis!
